Run All Night Movie Review

Well, once I watched the trailer, I kinda know that this movie is something like Taken movie, but it's just that this time, he's protecting his son instead of a daughter la. And yeah, that's why most people said that this movie could easily be mistakenly thought as 'Taken 4'... =]

"I've killed your son in order to protect my son, I'm sorry" - Jimmy Conlon

In the movie, Sean Maguire (acted by Ed Harris) are Jimmy Conlon's (acted by Liam Neeson) childhood friend, boss and soon-to-be enemy. In the movie, Liam Neeson is a professional Brooklyn hitman, who had killed Ed Harris son, Danny Maguire (acted by Robert Boyd Holbrook) in order to protect his own son, Mike (acted by Joel Kinnaman). Both of them, father and son are marked for death by the mob, Jimmy will go up against Sean to protect his son and family at all costs (same storyline liddat with taken hor). Together, they both need to avoid corrupted cops, contract killers and mob to survive the night.

From childhood friends, they become enemy...

Everyone wants to kill both Jimmy Conlon and his son, Mike...

Every father will protect his own son whenever there is danger,
so, I'll 'RUN ALL NIGHT' in order to keep my son alive!

"Since 2008, Neeson has made multiple movies with a general theme of him as a tough, middle-aged expert at kicking butts — TakenTaken 2Taken 3The GreyA Walk Among Tombstones, and the aforementioned films Unknown and Non-Stop. Missing people and/or saving endangered family or friends usually is in the mix, too. Seven such films in eight years, then. And you already know all of this, because you’ve probably seen every single one of them. Because for the most part, there are worse ways to spend two hours than watching Liam Neeson be awesome at bringing the hurt." - Mark Hughes, Forbes
Well, but this time around in the movie, unlike Taken movie, he's not really a killing machine, but he's just a lazy alcoholic man who was being left alone by his own family where he have done a lot of killings including innocent people.

Son die jor but still can sit so calm in the restaurant
to talk and warn him that he's going to die... Geng!

Liam Neeson recently announced that he'll most probably stop acting in action movies in the next couple of years stating that he have his own "limit" in action movie line.

Father & son trying to run away from mobsters trying to kill them train scene...

Well, overall, I like this movie, so I'll rate this movie 7 out of 10, lots of gun shooting scenes, very violent and 'kan cheong'. Kinda predict what happened towards the end of the movie in their wood house. If only their ending is a happy ending instead of just saying bye and all, you know, at least there is some for the dad to change and be a good dad/grandpa instead. Kinda wasted la.. But if you guys want to know more on what happened in the show, make sure you catch the movie in cinemas near you! Super 'kan cheong' lor I tell you! My dad loves it though! For the meantime, feel free to watch the trailer down below!

Well, I guess that's all for Run All Night movie review of mine!
