Big Hero 6 Movie Review

Won a pair of tickets to watch Big Hero 6 two days before it's out to public thanks to Nuffnang again. When head over to the collection counter, saw them asking us to insta & tweet #selfie picture of us with Big Hero 6 movie poster.. Did it instantly and won myself a cute lil'  Baymax figurine. Thank you Nuffnang! =)

This is how the premiere look like in Hollywood
W-O-W!

Big Hero 6 is a really interesting movie due to its crossover element of technology and superheroes in action with lots of genuine laugh. Not only that, it is really funny especially the interactions between the main character, Hiro Hamada and the chubby cute robot, Baymax. Baymax has definitely stole the limelight for the entire movie with its layered balloon body and cute movements. Disney collaborate with Marvel, interesting... =)

So squishy eh?!

However, this is also the downside of Big Hero 6. The movie focused too much on Baymax till a point where the friends of Hiro Hamada did not seems to be important in the movie at all aside from battling out against the villain.

Hello!
So cute eh?!

This scene is funny too... lol~

Hello Mochi! meow~

Well, Big Hero 6 is actually "the boy" version of 'Frozen' for the boys but interestingly enough girls, like it too because of Baymax cute huggable character in it and did I tell you that Tadashi Hamada (voiced by Daniel Henney as Hiro's bro) is cute and handsome too? Even in real life too bah~ tee hee~ =P But too bad, wish his character could stay longer in the movie though.. wasted la..

"On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your pain?"

Genius at work, don't disturb!

No matter what, overall Big Hero 6 is still very entertaining and funny as a whole. From its more emotional scenes to its high-flying, super-powered sequences, the film takes the best of both Disney and Marvel and blends everything into a nearly hiccup-free and eye-catching experience. Best I could tell, no one left the theater unhappy.

Well, overall, I like this movie, so I'll rate this movie 8.5 out of 10, lots of up and down in the movie. It's a happy ending story after all, you know... Lot of moral values and too bad Tadashi's character ended too early... ='(

For the meantime, feel free to watch the trailer down below!

Bye & thanks for reading!

Well, I guess that's all for Big Hero 6 movie review of mine!

***P/S: Do stay for a surprise scene after the credits. *wink!*

Nice! This seems like a cute movie to me and I am sure my kids are going to enjoy it a lot. I have to share this post with my best friend as well because every weekend we sit together and our kids enjoy watching shows by Andy Yeatman on Netflix. We can show them the movie too.
