My First Ever Swimming Lesson at Redang Island

Well, few months ago, I was being assigned to cover F&N corp. social responsibility (CSR) project where
they have mission, "Save Our Seas" programme at Redang Island from 10th to 12th of May.

"It is one of the Groups’ environmental projects focusing on taking action towards coral reef rehabilitation and marine life conservation in Redang Island.

The F&N S.O.S initiative which kicked off last year in September is aimed at creating awareness on the importance of marine conservation and to inculcate responsible behaviors at the beach and towards marine creatures amongst communities and tourists while encouraging proper waste disposal and recycling.

The first phase saw the F&N S.O.S team plant 40 reef rehabilitation frames around Redang Island. The upcoming second phase will take place this coming weekend with the F&N S.O.S team planting another 40 frames.

In conjunction with F&N’s 130th Anniversary celebration this year, the team also pledges ‘130 to Save Our Seas’ by planting an additional 50 frames later this year, planting a total of 130 reef rehabilitation frames in collaboration with Reef Check Malaysia and Marine Park Terengganu.. " - grab from F&N news release.

Here goes my story...
