The Boy Next Door Movie Review
Was so lucky to be the first few who watched "The Boy Next Door" before it goes to cinema nationwide thanks to Jaymee! Muacks! Appreciate it a lot as usual! xoxo
The popcorn-cola thriller is out this Thursday (22/1/2014) in Malaysia featuring Jennifer Lopez, Ryan Guzman, Kristin Chenoweth and John Corbett.
You know, he's like sorta hero; he kept showing off his bulging & sweaty biceps whenever he can purposely to show it to Claire & of course the viewers.
When Claire's son leaves for a camping trip with his dad, the drama starts to happen and it starts to get sizzle. However, she somehow regretted for doing it and told him that it's all just like a "one night stand" kinda thing and it meant nothing but well, not to Noah. He's totally obsessed with Claire and willing to do anything. His obsession level went up really high. Want to know how it ends, well, I suggest you to watch it yourself in cinemas. Some said the movie is pretty lame and predictable but some say the movie is very 'kan-cheong'...
Here's the trailer for you to watch if you have 50/50 to watch or not to watch the movie...
In cinemas on January 22nd, 2015
and lonely... so I can't control myself...
'[Claire Peterson is] late 30s-early 40s...separated about to go through a divorce, deciding, feeling like at her lowest point in her life. You know how that is, her husband's cheated on her. She doesn't know how to deal with it, and is not feeling desirable. And this young man next door - "The Boy Next Door" - comes along and starts giving her little compliments. She's super vulnerable and she crosses that line. We all have been there and for that reason I felt like I understood her.' - Jennifer Lopez
She acted Claire Peterson, a San Fernando Valley high-school teacher who has recently separated from her husband Garrett (acted by John Corbett). Claire is feeling lost and lonely, struggling to raise her teenage son, Kevin (acted by Ian Nelson), all by herself.
And all of the sudden, one day, came this handsome young hunky Noah; 20 years old boy (acted by Ryan Guzman) to the rescue when their basement door was jammed.
He manages to effortlessly wedge himself into Claire’s life over the course of about five minutes, fixing her car and garage door, showing up for dinner, and helping Kevin gain the confidence to talk to the neighborhood hottie. (Needless to say, in addition to his expertise with auto repair, he’s also a skilled computer hacker and a kickboxer who can quote long passages of “The Iliad” from memory.) - Variety
"Cut off those shirt so that he can
show off to people that he did workout!"

Super hawt! At her age, her body and all, wow, just WOW! =)
His stalking level is ... hmmm ....
Oh boy, don't you think the trailer had certainly got us hooked?! But sorry ar, the steamy sneak peak of the love scene sudah cut and censored by The Film Censorship Board of Malaysia. So, it's very selamat to watch geh... -_-"
Oh well, I rated this movie 6.5 out of 10, typical storyline with happy ending and all, but I definitely love their shots especially the scene where Noah threaten Claire in kitchen, to either tell it to her husband first or the son first part and also the steamy part if ada la... =p Overall, nice and kan-cheong la, eye-candy sikit and violent sikit here and there.. okok la..
That's all for The Boy Next Door movie review of mine.
Till then, adios!
xoxo
