The Maze Runner Movie Review
Was lucky enough to catch the premiere of The Maze Runner today although the show will only be up on Sept 11th (Yeap, on my birthday!) and premiering nationwide on Tuesday thanks to Nuffnang! I guess this movie is worth waking up so early on Sunday morning though! =)
All right, I'm glad to say that I love the movie and I felt like I'm running as fast I could with MinHo [aherm... cute la him, with mata so sepet some more... '=)] in the movie! -_-"
Anyways, although everyone is going to say The Maze Runner is like The Hunger Games' but well, at least this movie doesn't have any lovey dovey smooch mooch scene and they don't over dressed. This movie makes me felt as curious as Thomas (acted by O'Brien) as to what's outside the maze! But nevertheless, both books/movies are AMAZING to capture readers/viewers' attention and the kan-cheong-ness!
All right, here's the synopsis I grabbed from Fandago:
"Based on the bestselling novel by James Dashner, this adventure thriller for young adults follows a young boy named Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) who finds himself trapped within a giant, deadly maze with a group of other kids. While he has no memories of his life prior to being in the maze, he is plagued by nightmares about a shadowy organization known only as W.C.K.D., and hopes that these fragments of memories will help him discover the secrets of his past and a way to escape."
They have #3 rules living in the maze together & this is their rule #1

Hello Minho & Thomas!
I agree with you both! Let's RUN! tee hee~
New package arrived but this time, they got a girl &
she's holding a note that says "The Last One EVER"
Starring Dylan O'Brien as Thomas & Kaya Scodelario as Teresa
Don’t focus on the fear. Focus on the Maze they said.
SPOILER ALERT: As what the writer mentioned, nope, there is absolutely no superficial adding of romantic lovey dovey to the movie. It's true to the book! No time for love wokay!
Therefore, I rate this movie 8.5 out of 10 for the action and casts but not the grievers. =) Well, the grievers in the movie are going to be nothing like the one described in the book! =/
The Maze Runner opens in Malaysia's theaters on Sept 11th 2014 and below here is the official trailer of The Maze Runner! Enjoy!
Pssst! Did you know that "The Maze Runner" sequel is already in pre-production?!
Two weeks before The Maze Runner even opens in theaters, 20th Century Fox is already moving ahead with a sequel to the YA film! Geng! Can't wait to watch their sequel now! :)
Thanks Nuffnang again for the free movie passes! =)
